Exeter City Women’s Walking Football team hosted a heartwarming event to raise funds for Motor Neurone Disease (MND) on behalf of the charity Mind over MND and Team Evo v MND.
With six teams participating, comprised of over 60 women from various clubs in Devon and Somerset, the event was a vibrant mix of players, referees, and volunteers managing scoreboards and refreshments.
The collective effort culminated in raising around £444, plus additional funds from merchandise sales.
The aim was twofold: to raise funds for MND research and to increase awareness of this debilitating disease.
