WFA South West Parkinson’s Walking Football Festival

The WFA are delighted to share news of our first ever South West Parkinson’s Walking Football Festival! This event is being organised by Parkinson’s UK in partnership with Portishead Town FC and the Walking Football Association.

The event will bring Parkinson’s / Neuro Walking Football teams together from all over the South West as well as giving clubs and players a chance to come and find out more. This is a family friendly event with refreshments and activities available throughout the day – please bring your supporter, partner or family members along! We are planning to have a BBQ, bouncy castle, a food van, football activities and more – as well as great games of football of course!

Where: Portishead Town Football Club, Bristol Rd, Portishead, Bristol BS20 6QG
When: Saturday 6 June 2026 10am – 2.30pm (arrive by 9:30am if playing)
Who: Walking Football Teams with players living with Parkinson’s / other neuro conditions

Sign up process:
• Team / Club Manager to complete team registration form
• Individual players to complete player registration form (please share with your players)
• Team / Club Manager to collect £5 per player and make single team participation fee on the day (card payment please)

We are hoping to be able to provide all players with a souvenir t-shirt from the event!
