New Saturday Morning Walking Soccer begins in September
The Parks and Recreation Department today invited residents to join two new recreation clubs beginning this fall at the Easterday Recreation Center, 6130 Adams St. The clubs will be Saturday mornings from September 7 through December 14.
The schedule is as follows:
• Waball Club, 8:30 to 10 a.m. – Activities include walking soccer games. Teams will be based on participants’ ages and abilities.
• Suits Club,10:30 a.m. to noon – Activities include board and card games. Participants may bring games or choose board and card games available at the center.
Participants must be age 13 or older.
The fee is $65 per person for each 14-week club session. Scholarships are available for those who qualify.
