DAWLISH Women’s Walking Football Club is going from strength to strength.
Following on from their successful progression into league and tournament football, including a runners-up trophy at EuroCopa 2024 in Portugal earlier this year, the club are keen to invite more women to play the sport.
Throughout July and August, they are holding recreational walking football sessions at Teignmouth Community School (Exeter Road) for women aged 40 and over. The first session is on Friday 12 July 6pm to 7pm, cost £4, and every Friday thereafter.
Previous football experience is beneficial but not necessary…
