Our Foundation’s Walking Football programme has provided a platform for our older generation to roll back the years – and Dons supporter Dave enjoyed a ‘dream’ debut recently.
After starring in his first Walking Football Tournament at Harris Academy, Mitcham, his wife Gill, who cares for Dave as he has Dementia, provided a glowing reference of the experience with our Foundation.
The event was attended by Mayor of Merton, Joan Henry, who presented certificates to participating teams and Dave was proud to receive an endorsement of his talents!
