Antony Isherwood, Community Director at the Birmingham City foundation, said: “The Birmingham City FC Foundation is the Club’s independent charity, and relies heavily on the generosity of fundraisers and partners to operate, so when a sponsor such as Coral comes forward with an initiative like this one, it can be hugely significant in our communities.”

Charlotte Emery, CMO for Coral’s parent company, Entain, said: “We are delighted to launch this initiative ahead of what is sure to be an exciting season for both the Men’s and Women’s BCFC teams, and with the Birmingham City Foundation – and therefore the fans – benefitting every time a home team goal is scored, we’ll be hoping for plenty of goals over the coming months.”

Supporters can follow the progress throughout the season via a live goal counter, which will be updated on matchdays and featured in post-goal celebrations whenever a major milestone is reached.
