Blackburn Rovers Walking Football team have won an international tournament in Majorca for the second consecutive year.
In 2023, the Community Trust’s walking footballers won the over 70 section of the tournament which allowed concession for four players aged 65 to 70.
This year, eight of last year’s squad of nine took their place in the younger over 65s section.
The format was a league of ten teams from England, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany and Chile. The top four teams progressed to the semi-finals after playing each other once.
