Bassetlaw District Council is supporting Walking Football clubs in Worksop and Retford.
Aimed at attracting people back into football, ‘Walking Football in Bassetlaw’ is for anyone over the age of 55, who wish to continue playing the sport, but have been unable to do so for a reason.
The sport has huge health and social benefits and is all about having fun. Teams play every Thursday at The Elizabethan Academy, Retford, 7-8pm and every Monday at Worksop Leisure Centre, 6-7pm.
