Jenner Park Stadium will welcome the spectacle on Sunday, June 2, hosted by Barry Town United Walking Football Club.

Teams from Wales and England will compete in over 50’s and over 60’s matches.

Now in its third year, the tournament is backed by the Welsh Walking Football Federation and will feature Vale teams from Llantwit Major, Penarth, and Peterston-super-Ely as well as teams from across Wales and England.

The day’s itinerary includes a raft of walking football games, culminating in an awards presentation, followed by a buffet at the Jenner Park clubhouse.

As the deadline for entries looms, more than 21 teams, with around 210 players, are set to participate.

The organisers aim to transform the event into a social affair for the players and their families as well as a serious competition…
