Yesterday, members of the Barnet FC community walking football team visited our good friends from the Nepalese community of Burnt Oak at their Watling Street Centre.
Our third visit was to introduce them to the joys of walking football and the amazing set up at Barnet FC, from our community group, to Saturdays at the Hive watching league football.
Our Nepalese hosts were spectacular in their hospitality, adding to a brilliant occasion and the day was full of football, fun & laughter and an amazing curry lunch.

The walking football club shall return and also look to host them back at the Hive, as well as inviting them for a home fixture.
The sound of laughter saw the community centre manager visit us and our group broke into two, as three of us were invited to another hall where we were introduced to a special needs group.

Out came the cones and footballs and in no time, more fun & laughter was had and we have been invited back to become a regular part of their group.
An amazing community day for all involved and a huge thank you to all that were involved in making it happen.
