The over 60s were up first and the first time out for this new team. They played well but couldn’t stop England achieving a 3-0 victory.
Next up was out over 50s team, and they battled against a strong England side who went 1-0 up against us in the first half before we pulled one back just before half-time.
In the second half, Ireland score from an early penalty then find themselves down to three outfield players as two men are sent off and England apparently score from a penalty, only for the referee to disallow the goal for too many steps taken!
Final score, victory to Ireland 2-1!
