Club chairman Drew Cochrane thanked the 36 players and referees Chris McClenaghen and Finlay Gillies, who took part in the event which raises money in memory of founder member Pat Rall, who passed away after contracting prostate cancer. Pat had been a player, referee and kitman.

His wife, Rosie Rall, presented the trophy and prizes alongside her family who attended. Family member Tommy O’Brien was one of the guest players provided by the Inverkip club.

At a social night in the George bar, Drew and fellow members raised a toast in memory of Norrie McGowan and Kenny McGuinness, who died from cancer this year.

A donation in excess of £600 will be donated to Prostate Cancer Scotland as a result of the tournament, which was also supported by sportscotland.
