22 hours ago our summer tournament was already in full swing with both the 55 and overs section and the Recreational teams kicking off just after 11am. The clouds had left us and we were left kicking balls in glorious sunshine! A bit too hot for some of us!

Nineteen teams passed through that Amdani Hi gate at the FAW Hub in Ocean Park throughout the day to support Cymru Amdani Hi- Wales For Her, an international Walking Football team. All funds accrued will help support us to put more Women on the international stage for this beautiful sport that we have all fallen in love with.

A big thank you to our Referees- Vicky Squires-Toovey, Kizzy Tarrant, Leanne Godwin and Mike.

Clare Burns was worth her weight in gold, manning the raffle, scratch card and information area as well as handing out trophies. A great Ambassador for Cymru Amdani Hi. Thank you.

Brilliant to see a brand new team join us, Monsoon Allstar Ladies- Mitch Monsoon.

Lovely to have Cardiff House of Sport- Karen Phillips, Plymouth Argyle Women’s Walking Football, Hartshill- Jay Bird, Dawlish Women Walking Football, Frome Flyers Womens Walking Football and Penydarren- Theresa Morgan, join us for the first time.

Football won today!

Thank you for all the amazing feedback from players and coaches, we also thank you for giving up your Saturday, travelling and being part of our big day.

Our Winter tournament is planned for mid January.
