Netball Development in Birmingham for England Netball are keen to encourage more people to get active and try netball activities, especially those from underserved communities who have a number of barriers stopping them getting involved and predominantly women and girls.
We are about to launch an exciting project in connection with Neighbour Network Scheme Sutton Coldfield!
We are launching three walking Netball sessions across Sutton Coldfield, two-day time and one evening session.
These sessions are for people aged 50 +, with an ambition to help attendees live healthier and more active lifestyles.
Walking Netball is very simply a walking form of netball, you need no prior experience to play, and the main aim is to have fun and have a giggle!
The sessions are:
- Wylde Green Church- Fridays – 11am-12pm (Starts Friday 1st March 2024)
- Newman Community Centre- Wednesdays- 2pm-3pm (Starts Wednesday 28th February 2024)
- Bishop Walsh School – Thursdays – 8pm-9pm (Starts Thursday 29th February 2024)
We are pleased to say that these sessions are supported from Neighbourhood Network Scheme funding meaning the first four weeks of each session are free!
