The Alzheimer Society of Ireland is delighted to promote a new free service for older persons called Walking Football
Dublin City Sports & Wellbeing Partnership (DCSWP) & FAI will host the programme in the Finglas/Glasnevin area.
Walking Football is designed to enable individuals to experience and develop fundamental movement skills of football. The skills of walking, balancing, kicking, throwing, catching and movement/change direction are all incorporated into the session.
Astro Pitches, Sports and Fitness Finglas, Mellowes Road, Fingkas West, Dublin 11
Wednesdays from 29th September 11am – 12 nooon
This is followed by tea/coffee and a chance to socialise.
Dublin City Sports and Wellbeing Partnership (DCSWP) in conjunction with FAI will host the four week programme in the Finglas/Glasnevin area. It will consist of 30 mins activity and 30 mins social gathering.
