Stade Ruffecois Walking Football started in March 2020 and has now grown to a group of around 40 players aged 50 and upwards. We welcome anyone who wants to play walking football at any level. For those who want to play competitively, we play in a league in the Charente-Maritime, and we also play friendlies against other teams in Nouvelle Aquitaine, but if you just want to have a bit of fun playing and getting fit then there is no pressure to compete.
We are affiliated to Stade Ruffecois football club who take a keen interest in promoting the sport in the Charente and further afield.
Sessions take place at the main stadium in Ruffec on Mondays at 6pm.
All playing standards are welcome to come along and join in.
We play to WFA (Walking Football Association) rules and it is a great way to make new friends and keep fit at the same time.
