“Age is just a number and style is timeless” for a walking football club who are debuting a new-look football kit.
The Paradise Pedestrians of Ely Walking Football Club are “turning heads” in their new kit, which has been sponsored by local businesses The High Flyer Pub and Jurassic Bark Pet Supplies of Littleport.
The High Flyer, which is the team’s go-to-spot after a match, have decked the club out in their new gear, with Jurassic Bark providing sleek rain jackets.

The new kit has come just before the club celebrate their 10th anniversary in January 2026.
In the last 10 years they have grown from a casual community kickabout to a hub which provides three weekly sessions.
“It’s more than just football”, said Club Founder, Richard Baty.
“It’s about friendship, fitness, and having a laugh.
“The support from local businesses means the world – it shows that we’re valued beyond the pitch.”

The club has also started a host of new activities to cater for every interest and energy level.
People can now take part in badminton, padel tennis, table tennis, quizzes, a music league, footgolf, as well as go on trips to gigs, beer festivals, pubs and the cinema.
The Paradise Pedestrians offer people in Ely and beyond the chance to make friends, get active, and connect with people from all walks of life.
The group, who are based at Ely Leisure Village, are encouraging anyone who wants to get involved to get in touch.
