Basingstoke Soccer Centre Walking Football New Launch
A NEW walking football programme for people with Parkinson’s is set to launch in Basingstoke.
The initiative, aimed at promoting exercise, fun, and socialising for people with the disease, will kick off at Basingstoke Soccer Centre on Wednesday, September 3, from 4pm to 5pm.
Organisers are encouraging members of the public to get involved and help spread the word about the venture.
Keith Murray, who has been organising the initiative, said: “Our taster day went really well. The more people who can get behind this, the better.”
