Cheddar Ladies WFC recently took part in the Somerset FA walking football festival, securing a win over local rivals Winscombe.
The performance also included two narrow defeats, and several goalless draws.
The team was managed by Alex Curnow, and included goalkeeper Lisa Machin, along with outfield players Nikki Llewellyn, Jacqui Lethaby, Sarah Williams, Kerry Hayes, and Liz McConnell.
Rosie Graham and Jane Leakey made their debuts.
The first four games saw Cheddar Ladies dominate possession, but they struggled to convert their chances, resulting in 0-0 draws.
Lisa Machin, the south west regional team keeper, showcased her skills with solid performances.

Their first defeat came in the fifth game against Exeter City, with Cheddar conceding their first goal.
However, they bounced back in the sixth game with Kerry Hayes scoring twice to secure a 2-0 victory against Winscombe.
Despite their best efforts, they ended the day with a narrow defeat against Woogas.
Their success was praised by the club, who noted the rapid improvement of the players, many of whom had never played football before joining Cheddar Ladies WFC.
The club thanked Somerset FA for organising the event, as well as the referees and supporters.
They also extended special thanks to Chris and Sue King, Kerry Hayes’ parents and partner Sarah, and Dave Burden, son of Bristol City legend Tommy, for their continued support.
