The FWWFC ladies were in great form today at the Bracknell Tournament, playing some lovely football and showing off their amazing new kit Sponsored by SHOT – Sport Head Originals Team!! Huge thanks to them. And Neil – our lovely Chairwoman’s husband!
Despite losing a few players the day before due to the dreaded Covid, the ladies did the club proud and were very unlucky not to get through to the finals. Well done all
Match reports:
First Game – Basingstoke
First goal scored by Kirsty before pulling her hamstring 7 minutes in! Second goal came from Sara. Final score 2-0
Second Game – Maidenhead
They scored at the end of the first half and despite some really close chances we didn’t manage to equalise. Final score 0-1
Third Game – Bracknell Reds
With some great defending we only conceded 2 goals, both in the second half. This was the lowest amount of goals conceded in a game against the reds, in the whole tournament! An excellent improvement and solid defensive performance from the ladies! Final score 0-2
Ending the day on a high with a Friendly against the Bracknell Blues, who we always enjoy playing! Such a lovely bunch of ladies. They won but great to play as always
The whole day was a very well organised and fun day out, huge thanks to BRACKNELL TOWN WALKING F.C. for organising the tournament! A fitting first outing for our new kit!!
