The Barnet Walking Football Team, based at Barnet FC’s The Hive in Camrose Avenue in Edgware, successfully raised £500 for Harrow Carers during a charity games evening.
The event, held as part of National Carers Week, aimed to support unpaid carers who face physical, mental, social, and financial challenges. Without proper support, these carers risk becoming patients themselves.
Participants enjoyed activities such as table tennis, crazy golf, and KerPlunk, contributing to the evening’s spirit of fun, regardless of their performance in the table football tournament.
The funds raised were presented to Harrow Carers at their headquarters on Pinner Road, HA2 6DZ.
