Walking Football Scotland @WalkingFootScot: This week we have been delighted to take part in the inaugural Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland Tartan Teapot Trophy which was held in Oriam National Performance Centre.
The event supported by The Scottish Government, welcomed SNP MSP Maree Todd (Minister for Social Care, Mental Wellbeing and Sport) and Scottish Green MSP Gillian Mackay provided both charities an opportunity to share the good work between our partnership with CHSS and the impact that Walking Football can have on the lives of those who take part.
8 teams including organisers CHSS and ourselves as well as; Active Scotland, Midlothian Ladies, Midlothian Marauders, Linlithgow Rose and 2 Oriam teams took part for a morning of fun and walking football…
