Well after severe flight delays at M/C half of our players finally arrived in Milan in the early hours to join the rest who were already in bed. Arriving at the hotel at 5am with the first games just after 12 noon. Putting the lack of sleep to one side they took to the field.
Our 50,s winning 1-0, 2-1, drew 0-0 but won the penalty shoot out 5-4. The 60,s winning 3-1 , 6-1 and 2-0. Both teams into Sunday semi finals.
Day 2 of the EWFC Italy tour, not exactly perfect but well done everyone.
The 50’s won their semi but lost the final on penalties. The 60’s lost their semi 1-0 but won the 3rd/4th place play off 1-0. Both shrouded in dubious referee decisions
