Gold Stars Heracles Walking Football: With over 150 participants, the 2nd edition of the Heracles walking football cup men has been a great success again. 14 teams from the Regional walking football network Tukkerland and 2 guest teams (Go Ahead Eagles and FC Ommen) together with the game counselors made it a beautiful walking football day. Although running, physical contact and verbal skills in some “seniors” once highlighted, it was a real walking football party. The tolerance was great.

At the award ceremony during the Nazit, Heracles Almelo director Rob Toussaint received a Dèja Vu. “If I see you enjoying a drink so nicely at this time then this reminds me of my beautiful time as a student. Ladies and gentlemen, I enjoyed seeing you all so much sportsmanship today. The organization wasn’t just eyeing for the “better” teams. The teams that finished in the last 4 places also got a prize to take home. There were beautiful commemorative medals for all participants.
The routine team of sportlust Glanerbrug ended up being the winner, followed by the men of FC Ommen and hvv Tubantia. Last year’s winner, Achilles “12, didn’t get any further than 10th place this year.
