Walking footballers from Alton FC have raised £550 for the Bobby Moore Fund for bowel cancer research.
It was generated by the club’s walking football teams playing four games against each other between Christmas and New Year’s Day. The walking football group is run by Mike Graves.
Committee member Steve Adams said: “Games were very competitive but more poignant knowing the funds were going to his fund.
“He was an exceptional footballer and nice man.”
