Last Saturday Port Vale FCWF hosted Stoke City Community FCWF at Dimensions.
Both teams fielded strong teams for the honour of winning the ‘WF Potteries Derby Trophy’.
Port Vale started the brighter of the two teams and almost went ahead in the opening minutes when they hit the post and then had a 20 yard shot which went just wide of the right hand post.
The game then became tight as Stoke got into their stride… Final score Port Vale 1 Stoke City 0
