SCOTLAND’S equalities minister found out all about efforts in Cumnock to improve physical and mental wellbeing and tackle social isolation and loneliness on a visit to the town this week.
Emma Roddick MSP was given a presentation on the work of Cumnock Juniors Community Enterprise (CJCE) at the community sport hub at Townhead Park.
The CJCE team spoke about their walking football programme and its benefits in improving physical and mental health and promoting social opportunities among older residents.
A CJCE spokesperson said: “We discussed our partnership working with EA Vibrant Communities and how we tackle disability, inclusion and diversity.
