Gloucestershire FA: You could be delivering Women’s Walking Football sessions just like the Silver Strikers in Sheffield. We’re offering grants of up to £1,200 if you want to set up recreational female only football
FOLLOWING AN INCREASE IN DEMAND, WE ARE LOOKING TO HELP CLUBS/ ORGANISATIONS IN DEVELOPING FEMALE ONLY RECREATIONAL SESSIONS.
The Gloucestershire FA is offering clubs/organisations the chance to apply for a grant of up to £1,200.
The available grants will support the development of female only recreational football sessions across the County. The recreational offer will be in the format of Walking Football, 16+ or Disability specific sessions. The sessions will fall under the Snickers Protein Just Play Programme.
Any clubs/organisations currently offering Just Play sessions are welcome to apply.
What is Just Play?
Requirements
To be eligible for this funding, you must commit to meeting all the requirements of becoming a Just Play provider. This includes running at least 16 sessions a year, having public liability insurance and using the FA Events Platform to create sessions and take attendance. If your session has 16 – 17-year-olds, you must adopt and adhere to the Snickers Protein Just Play Safeguarding Children Policy.

- Up to £1,200 funding over 6 months

- Promotional assets (physical and digital)
- National promotion through the FA Find Football Search Engine
- Support from Gloucestershire FA

The deadline for your applications is 5 pm, Thursday, 20th October 2022. You will receive confirmation on whether your application has been successful by Monday, 31st October.
