Could you start by telling us a little about your background such as if you were you a sporty person when you were younger, and how long you had a break from playing sports before you got involved with Walking Football?
Played Football All My Life and Managed.
Always top Goal Scorer in every team I played for.
How long have you been involved with the running / management of the sessions?
6 Months Walking.
Was Manager of Eastwood Falcons in the Essex League Last Year Came runners up was top Goalscorer with 18.
Moved on to my Old Team Chemico FC
Why did you first get involved with helping run your Walking Football sessions?
I Played and it was such a good Game to Play.
How long have the sessions been available for people to attend?
1 Hour.
How many hours per week do you spend on Walking Football related matters?
2 hours plus games in the National League.
Are your sessions funded in any way and if so, how did you achieve securing these revenue streams?
No Sponsored.
Does your venue follow rules of the game created by any official body / association? If the answer is yes, why did you decide to follow those association rules?
Essex FA and League.
How many regular players attend each session and how quickly have numbers grown since the first session run?
12 Players Registered.

If your team plays a competitive game, rather than one of the weekly Walking Football fitness sessions, do you see any change of attitude in respect of competitiveness in the players?
Yes We playing in the Essex League and Southern National League 50s.

Do you feel fitter and healthier since you have started playing Walking Football and if so in which ways?
Yes keeps me going with the loss of RIP James.
How else has playing Walking Football affected your life?
Kept me going with my loss of James.
Have you had any injuries playing and if so what were they?
Had a new hip.
Also Need a new Knee at some point.
Do you always have a member present who has had first aid training at your games and training sessions?
Yes.
Has your social life changed since you became involved with Walking Football, and if so in which ways?

What are your best and worst Walking Football memories?
Best competing in the Southern National League.
Worst loosing games.
What do you like most about Walking Football?
Its such a great game you always involved on the pitch.
What do you like least about Walking Football?
I love all aspect of the game.
Social side is good and always look forward to the league games.
Do you find it difficult NOT to run and what advice could you give someone in how to remain at walking pace?
No I don’t often get into a run.
