Walking Sports with One Leisure Active Lifestyles Team, Huntingdonshire District Council
As part of our walking sports sessions, we offer football, netball, and cricket (although due to COVID we are running reduced sessions for our football and netball and cricket is currently suspended).
Each session is slightly modified where players walk instead of run and all are suitable for adults aged 35+. We welcome players of any ability or fitness level.
All walking sports sessions are £3.30 (Yaxley is £2) or £31 for a 10-session pass
Walking Football
You don’t have to give up the beautiful game!
Walking football is a standard game of football specifically designed for adults aged 35+ where players walk instead of run. It’s guaranteed to keep you active and a great way to get back into football if you’ve given it up due to age or injury.
Enjoy a friendly game during the day, after work or in the evening. You can come on your own or bring a mate with you. All abilities are welcome.
Session details
Due to COVID advanced booking is required. This can be done via the One Leisure website or the One Leisure App.
• Tuesday 10 – 11am Hemingford Hub
• Wednesday 5 – 6pm / Friday 12 – 1pm One Leisure Huntingdon
